Who operates Pinoy Finder

Pinoy Finder is a free project created and operated by Austin Patterson.

Austin operates the project personally from Texas. Pinoy Finder is not an LLC, corporation, nonprofit, tax-exempt organization, charity, fundraising platform, partner, or beneficiary program.

Pinoy Finder is built with a long-term commitment to direct 100% of any future net profits to verified community-support work in the Philippines. This mission statement is not a request for money and does not identify a current recipient.

Pinoy Finder is currently in beta. Some features may change as the experience improves.

We collect only the information needed to operate, improve, and secure the service.

What we collect

Account data such as your email and account identifier when you sign in.
Favorites you save so your list is available across sessions.
Restaurant suggestions you submit and any optional contact details you include.
Advertising pitches you submit, including business and contact details, your story, creative ideas, placement preference, and optional links or timing.
Feedback and problem-report details you provide to help us improve the app.
Approximate location only when you use near-me or radius search and grant permission.
Basic app-use, performance, and error data through Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights.

Location permission is optional. You can deny location access and still use country, city, and search-based discovery.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use collected data for cross-app tracking.

Account and data deletion

You can permanently delete your account and related personal data from the Account page.

You choose whether to receive occasional email updates when you create your account, and you can change that choice later.

Payments and donations

Pinoy Finder does not accept direct donations or payments in this release. No donation, purchase, paid placement, partner, or beneficiary relationship is created by using the service. The long-term profit commitment does not make contributions tax-deductible.
